The DGC Library (here at the Davis Senior Center) is open to the public from 1:00-4:00 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. Assistance is available for using the materials in our library such as books, indexes, computers, CDs. There is no charge to anyone for using the library in person. We offer a warm invitation to you to visit us!
LIBRARY HOURS: Wednesday and Friday, 1:00-4:00; Mondays by appointment (email the
to arrange a time).
Holdings: Our library contains books which have been donated over the years by members and friends. The resources range from very general "how-to" books to specific surname books. The subjects covered are those which were of interest to the people who donated the material. Since most families in California moved here, the research areas include the stopping-off states of the Midwest and East as well as early California. This library is particularly rich in New England genealogy resources because of the donation of the extensive holdings of Warren Westgate.
We recommend that you contact the Library Chair or President by email at the links above to confirm that the Library will be open and that someone will be present to assist you.
