About DGC The Davis Genealogy Club (formerly known as Davis Genealogical Club and Library) is a club in Davis (California) whose members are interested in genealogy. Here are some details about us.

Programs DGC often provides speakers at our monthly meetings. If there is a flyer made for the event, it will be published as part of a webpage as well as in a PDF file for easier printing. To see older flyers, you can look at the current collection at http://davisgenealogy.org/pdf/ and download whatever item there interest you. (That directory contains press releases and other PDF files we have published recently.)  We hope you can join us sometime for one of our programs!

Get Map The Davis Senior Center is in downtown Davis (California) about 20 miles west of the capital, Sacramento. Here are directions. We hope you can visit us.

Library Holdings The DGC Library (here at the Davis Senior Center) is open for genealogical research from 1:00-4:00 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. This library is particularly rich in New England genealogical resources. There is no charge to anyone for using the library in person. We offer a warm invitation to you to visit us!
On this website, we have some of our holdings listed:

Family Histories DGC Library Holdings of Family Histories (Dewey Decimal #s 929...) listed by Surnames

Research Requests NOTE: If you can't come in to our Library yourself, and would like to request a look-up in one of our books, please use our printable Research Request Form. Fill it out and mail it in along with a small research fee.

Surnames Some of our members have made known what SURNAMES and LOCALITIES they are working on. You can check the Surnames Index to see who's looking at who.

Gen.Resources This resource page includes connections to a number of websites for various genealogical organizations. These are just the members' FAVORITES and this is NOT a complete list of Internet resources.

The items below are not yet part of this website, but are in consideration by some members for a possible future version. Consider this a wish list!
