(Must be present to win) \n\n\n\nJonathan will share tips\, tools\, and traps to avoid when unraveling complex genealogy puzzles using DNA evidence. He will present case studies from the colonial period that involve connections among descendants of interrelated families and children who did not inherit their father’s surname. \n\n\n\n~ // ~ \n\n\n\nJonathan W. Long has conducted family history research for nearly four decades\, and he started using DNA evidence in his research back in 2003. He has been a member of and presenter to the Davis Genealogy Club since 2014. He lives in Davis with his wife and two sons\, and he is preparing to retire after a long career of public service. \n\n\n\n~ // ~ \n\n\n\nJoin us in-person at the Davis Senior Center (646 A St.\, Davis)\, or via Zoom (email us at president@davisgenealogy.org to request a one time guest pass).
