He will present case studies from the colonial period that involve connections among descendants of interrelated families and children who did not inherit their father’s surname. \n\n\n\n~ // ~ \n\n\n\nJonathan W. Long has conducted family history research for nearly four decades\, and he started using DNA evidence in his research back in 2003. He has been a member of and presenter to the Davis Genealogy Club since 2014. He lives in Davis with his wife and two sons\, and he is preparing to retire after a long career of public service. \n\n\n\n~ // ~ \n\n\n\nJoin us in-person at the Davis Senior Center (646 A St.\, Davis)\, or via Zoom (email us at president@davisgenealogy.org to request a one time guest pass).
