Tent cities, soup kitchens, lost jobs, holes in soles…holes in souls. Unemployment at 25%. Forget the causes and the politics; people suffered to greater or lesser extent. In the 2020s, we can look back on the 1930s stories of our US (and other country) ancestors. Adaptable? Oh, yes.
