Davis Genealogy Club’s Annual Harvest Festival
November 18, 2025 @ 1:00 pm
This year’s theme is:
Inherited Textiles
Do you have your grandmother’s embroidered apron?
Great Aunt Mary’s Irish linen tablecloth?
Great Uncle Fred’s handkerchief he carried throughout WWI?
Cousin Brody’s cowboy bandana from the 1920s?…
~ // ~
We’ll then weave a good story around it and help make the festival festive!
– Let Mary McGowan (mkmcgowan at aol.com) know if you plan to present by November 12th. INCLUDE A PHOTO (those attending on Zoom will thank you).
– Prepare a family story that fits the theme.
– If practical, bring the item with you.
– You’ll have up to 5 minutes to “weave a good yarn.”

It’s a business meeting, a potluck, and a member showcase all rolled into one unforgettable afternoon!
*If you’d like to join via Zoom as a one time guest, send a request to president@davisgenealogy.org.
Come ready to listen, laugh, and maybe even learn something new about your fellow club members.
– Bring a dish or beverage to share at our potluck lunch. If you don’t have a dish to share, don’t fret. We want to see you there anyway! There’s always plenty of great food, coffee and conversation!
– We’ll elect the next officers of the Board during the Business Meeting.
– We’re celebrating our families’ histories- one stitch at a time!
