Finding Females in US Naturalization Records

       The talk will discuss evolving requirements for US naturalization & citizenship. She will also familiarize us with naturalization legislation affecting women from 1790 until the 1940’s. Nancy is proficient in finding records for females, often much more difficult than males.

Speaker: Nancy Loe, creator of Sassy Jane Genealogy (sassyjanegenealogy.com) is a professional librarian, archivist, and genealogist specializing in UN and European genealogy. She has assisted hundreds of people with their family research in the United States, Norway, Sweden, Scotland, Germany, Prussia (Poland), and other European countries. In addition to client research and giving presentations, Nancy has a website, blog, and has written a newsletter and several e-books.
