General Meeting & Presentation: The Northwest Territory and Land Speculation

The Northwest Territory is also known as the Old Northwest and formally known as the Territory Northwest of the River Ohio, an area of interest to many genealogists. In this talk, returning speaker Dr. Kathryn Marshall will help us learn about the history of early westward migration in the US, what records were kept, and how to access them.

Dr. Marshall was the Director of the Lodi Family History Center for 14 years. Today she serves on the team that maintains the Research Wiki on FamilySearch and is a frequent speaker at genealogical  conferences  and  workshops.
