Topic Talk: Letters – Written in the First Person

“Dear ______” transforms into “Dear [Descendant].”  Although addressed to someone else, our descendants write to tell us…all sorts of things about their lives and the person they wrote to.  What have you found in letters written by or to your ancestors?  And has your understanding of what was written changed over time, after further research, upon reflection?  Let’s share, tell and talk.  Bringing the letters highly encouraged, if possible, but not required.  We don’t want to miss anything about the missives.
