General Meeting & Presentation: The Yolo County Archives Collection & Genealogy

Are you a genealogist or someone who is interested in learning more about the people who historically lived in Yolo County? Join the Davis Genealogy Club and Heather Lanctot, the Yolo County Archives and Records Center Coordinator, to learn more about the resources and collections that are available through the Yolo County Archives. Heather’s talk with provide a brief history of the Archives and information about how individuals can access the collection, and what materials the Archives have that would be helpful for genealogical research. Heather Lanctot has been the Archives and Records Center Coordinator for 4 and half years. Prior to working in Yolo County, she worked in archives and libraries in Oregon, Illinois, and California. Heather has a bachelor’s degree in Music with an emphasis in History and Literature and two Masters’ degrees: one in Musicology and the other in Library and Information Science.
